Lastest Update: 04 JANUARY 2021 – New National Lockdown Announcement. People are able to leave their homes to attend medical appointments.

We will continue to remain OPEN for all appointments.

We remain OPEN for all face-to-face appointments

Important Information for Patients

In accordance with the Prime Minister’s 30th December announcement and in line with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy & NHSEngland guidlines, we will remain open for both face to face and virtual appointments.

Physiotherapy Services remain open across the UK
The CSP is keen to reassure members and patients that physiotherapy services across the UK can remain open no matter what level of lockdown restrictions their area is subject to. This includes private and independent sectors.
28th October 2020: 10:00AM

We have not taken the decision to remain open lightly and have worked hard to safely offer face-to-face appointmets at our clinic. We meet all our regulatory & legal obligations and have completed risk assessments, introduced additional infection control procedures and put in place measures to mitigate the risk of transmission to you, your families and our team.

The clinic has been refurbuished over these past couple of months to make it even more “COVID secure” and reduce the risk of COVID transmission. You can see more details about the measures we have put in place <here>, but some of the key points include:

  1. New “cap & cove” washable flooring in all treatment rooms
  2. New washable flooring in all other areas
  3. Anti-Bacterial paint in all treatment rooms and toilets
  4. Surface sanitisation after each patient visit

Our preferred option is still to treat remotely (via video/phone) in your own home, as this is obviously the safest method for you and your therapist, however, we recognise there are situations where a face-to-face appointment is the only solution e.g. if your condition is deteriorating.

Maintaining the safety of our team and customers is our highest priority and we continue to follow all current guidance issued by NHS England, Public Health England and our governing bodies to keep us all as safe as possible during these strange times.

This means things will seem a little different when you visit us or when you call to make an appointment. <Click here> to read more about the measures we are taking to protect you, your families and our team..

We Treat Everyone

Physiotherapists at Rugby Physio have vast experience in assessing and treating a wide range of conditions and are skilled in providing care for children, adolescents and adults, regardless age, nature of injury or condition. This approach allows us to develop a personalised treatment plan enabling you to reach your full potential. Having worked with 13-18 year old school children for over 20 years, we have a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with teenagers, and related growth problems. We have also design specific training programmes to help athletically talented children recover from injury or to achieve their sporting goals.
Some of the more common conditions assessed and treated by us include:

  • Back pain & neck pain (including headaches & sciatica)
  • Muscle and joint pain
  • Sports Injury
  • Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) & other overuse disorders
  • Arthritis

  • Post operative joint replacement rehabilitation
  • Fitness and maintenance programmes
  • Growth problems e.g. osgood schlatters and severs

Size is Important

As Rugby Physio operates from a purpose built clinic with four treatment rooms, a rehabilitation gym and a skilled group of therapists,  we can provide you with more flexibility and more choice of appointments than a smaller operation. Quite simply, we have the ability to offer you a choice of time which suits you, with the availability of evening appointments too.

Being much larger than many “one-man practices” means that we also have more experience treating many more conditions and that we are able to offer more services, for example Pilates classes or 1:1s, domicillary service, advice regarding  hydrotherapy exercises.

Rugby Physio only offers treatments given by chartered physiotherapists who are registered with the Health Professions Council. This is important as it ensures that you will receive the very best treatment, from state qualified and certified physiotherapists. We believe in quality treatment and have been working in the private sector for over 23 years. We know how to work with you, so that you can achieve your full potential following injury, accident, operation or illness.
