Early Treatment of Injury

It's often the case that individuals don't know how to correctly manage their injury or problem, resulting in them doing nothing ... or worse still, doing the wrong thing.

Either way, this can turn a simple injury into a complex problem and for many this usually means additional pain and discomfort elsewhere and a longer recovery time.

It has been proven that people benefit from starting treatment early. The sooner we can get you doing the right thing, the sooner you can make a full recovery. We often see individuals purely for assessment and advice to ensure that they correctly manage their problem at an early stage.

Conditions Assessed and Treated

Physiotherapists at Rugby Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic have experience in treating a wide range of conditions. Some of the more common conditions assessed and treated by us include:

  • Sports Injuries
  • Muscle and joint pains
  • Arthritis
  • Back pain & neck pain (including headaches and sciatica)
  • Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) & other related overuse disorders
  • Neurological conditions including stroke victims
  • Road traffic accident injuries
  • Post operative rehabilitation
  • Post operative joint replacement rehabilitation
  • Respiratory problems

Physiotherapy is able to help manage many acute and chronic problems too vast to capture in the list above. If you are unsure whether Physiotherapy can help you, then please call our Physiotherapy Team for more information.

We are happy to assess and treat patients who are on the NHS waiting list and will arrange a transfer letter to your NHS Physiotherapist when your appointments become available.

Domicilliary Visits

If you are unable to attend treatment at one of our clinics we offer a Domicilliary service, where you can be assessed and treated in the comfort and privacy of your own home by one of our Physiotherapists. If you are immobile or "bed bound" we will need to know arrangements for access to your home. We are quite happy for you to have a member of your family or friend present throughout your appointment should you wish to do so.

If you would like further information about this service please contact the receptionist.
