Physiotherapy Treatment for Low Back Pain
Research shows that Physiotherapy is the mainstay treatment for low back pain. https://cks.nice.org.uk/topics/back-pain-low-without-radiculopathy/
Physiotherapy treatment involves gaining a diagnosis from the physiotherapist. The Physiotherapist will take a history and conduct a physical examination. This involves finding out about you, your work duties, your exercise habits, eating habits, sleeping habits, lifestyle and medical history. We take into consideration what your goal is and work with you. This process formulates the diagnosis and the correct treatment for you as an individual.
We use a combination of manual therapy and tailored exercise programmes to improve function, reduce pain and get you back to what you love doing. At Rugby Physio, we have strong historical links with many of the local GP surgeries in Rugby. Our clinic can easily arrange scans through this pathway. We can also connect you with a specialist spinal surgeon to get you a second opinion.
