Acupuncture is a very old form of treatment which physiotherapists can be trained in to help manage pain and release tight muscles.

This can involve either needles or in the form of pressure over specific points. Your physiotherapist may use acupuncture for part of your treatment programme.

Pilates is a gentle form of low impact exercise that stretches and strengthens the deep core muscles which support the body and promote good posture. The exercises were devised by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s and have evolved into the pilates that we perform today. The exercises can be graded to suit individual needs and at Rugby Physio we believe in small classes, so that we can ensure that you perform the exercises safely and correctly.

We offer 1:1 sessions and classes led by an APPI pilates trained physiotherapist.

You do not have to be a Rugby Physio client to attend for pilates but we do ask if you have not done any pilates previously, that you have a 1:1 session to ensure that you understand and can perform the starting positions.
